About
I struggled with this myself for years and started searching and experimenting in the area where Hensel once lived. On the farm of the Van den Tillaart family in the former East Germany, I was given the opportunity to bring this old science back to the present day. That place has become a second home to me and a gateway that allows us to grow towards a truly sustainable agricultural system. Back to preventing diseases instead of curing them. Back to a vital food supply, where the farmer is the doctor of the future.
History
In 1893, pharmacist Julius Hensel already demonstrated that depleted soil can be restored with finely ground rock minerals. Synthetic fertilizers have an adverse effect on the soil microbiome and create imbalances in mineral content. The fertilizer industry condemned Hensel, and this knowledge was kept from farmers for decades.
From Stone to Soil Life
I source and trade the raw materials directly from the quarries myself. Diabase rock is rich in the minerals your soil is lacking and is unique because it is a basic volcanic rock with the ideal balance of silica, magnesium, iron, and calcium that microbial life needs.
Where lime only raises pH, Diabase gradually releases all essential trace elements at the same time, just as Hensel described for healthy soil. Diabase rock closes the short cycle.
No quick fixes, just rock dust that feeds microbial life and sequesters carbon.
As Hensel already knew, we are putting soil life back in charge.

What Julius Hensel already proved in 1893. First there was stone. The first life emerged from minerals in rock. Plants, animals, humans, and microbes — we all build from that same mineral balance.
A healthy metabolism goes hand in hand with a mineral balance that determines the biodiversity of the microbiome. A disrupted mineral balance leads to a disrupted metabolism, which throws hormone production out of balance and causes diseases originating from an imbalanced microbiome.
Hensel proved that all natural processes are reversible: if we feed the microbiome correctly, the metabolism restores itself and diseases disappear.
These processes occur identically in both soil and in humans and animals. With one difference: soil biology is linked to the plant, while humans and animals are separate organisms with their own metabolism.
